HISTORY

J-FEST is a dance festival organised by NGO J PRODUCTION.

J-Fest is a dance festival that brings together people of all ages and is a place where creativity, art and dance become one.

The first time the festival was born as a practical work at the Jõhvi Gymnasium in 2019 (in collaboration with Kirill Volkov and Dmitri Orehhov and under the guidance of Natalja Šabartšina). People liked the event so much that we decided to organise it again, and now J-Fest can be seen in the form of four events in two cities – Jõhvi and Tallinn:

J-Fest: Showcase edition, Battle, Vogue Ball and dance workshops.

NGO J PRODUCTION is a voluntary association of legal and natural persons acting in the public interest, which is an independent organisation and not a section of any other organisation.

The objectives of NGO J PRODUCTION are:

To develop the culture of event management in Estonia;
To develop the culture of organising dance events in Estonia;
To involve young people in organising of events and project writing activities;
Create conditions for youth development activities.

In order to achieve its objectives, the association carries out the following activities:

Organises dance events called J-Fest;
Disseminates information about the event and the writing of its project;
Promotes the J-Fest and disseminates the information about the J-Fest.
Involves young people in the events and gives them the opportunity to volunteer to try their hand at organising cultural events;
Organises activities, events, seminars, camps etc.;
Develops cooperation with other (children’s and youth) associations, companies and individuals at home and abroad.
